Online Relias Courses
Relias courses are offered in two formats:
1. Traditional online format
2. Personalized Learning Module (PLM) format
PLMs measure your level of knowledge on a given topic and provide you with a personalized learning path. This approach ensures you focus on information
most useful to you rather than areas where you are already proficient. (CME credit will vary based on your personalized learning path.)
Here’s an example of how you benefit from the PLM format:
The “Fetal Assessment and Monitoring” series of courses takes 9.75 hours to complete. It took the physician 1.39 hours to complete a PLM pretest. She then
was assigned a customized learning path that eliminated course content for which she already demonstrated proficiency. Her learning path coursework took 2.35 hours to complete. The physician saved 6.01 hours by choosing the PLM learning option!
The following Relias courses are available to you:
Personalized Learning Path Format (CME credit will vary based on your personalized learning path.):
- Forceps and Vacuum Assisted Delivery

Ob-Gyn BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 Genetic Testing Tool Kit
Without question, a clear and present concern for the Obstetrics and Gynecology specialty is the millions of patients who meet the criteria for cancer-related genetic testing, but who have not been tested. As our ongoing commitment to provide you with relevant risk resources, The BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 Genetic Testing Tool Kit is now available. Discover how failure to obtain BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 genetic testing may represent an area of potential liability in allegations of delayed breast cancer diagnoses by reviewing PIAA’s article entitled “Failure to Recommend Genetic Testing: The Next Wave of Medical Professional Liability Lawsuits?”.
